We started off with 17 people with a few new faces. Two more arrived during the meeting.
Three new books were donated to our library.
We had some Q and A from our members who have had ECT (electroconvulsive therapy).
Issues with isolation vs socialization.
Discussion of the positive benefits and the opportunity of adversity.
How sometimes even the smallest things can be enough to escape the depths of darkness and depression.
The impact (and sometimes lack thereof) of informing friends and employers of our conditions.
We also provided an opportunity for new people to talk individually about why they came.
Where one can get mental and physical health care in the area without insurance.
We are going to have a Saturday group from 4-6 pm. Keep an eye on the website for starting dates.
